Hi there!
I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Victoria Wilder - one of the therapists at Bloom & Heal. If you’re considering starting therapy or just learning more about who we are at Bloom & Heal, I hope this post helps you get a feeling for who we are.

Who I Am
I’m a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI) who works with clients to navigate life’s challenges while fostering personal growth and compassion. I earned my Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Oklahoma and my Master’s of Science in Curriculum & Instruction - Elementary Education at Florida State University. I’m also a former Leon County Schools teacher.
As a clinician, I focus on helping those who struggle with trauma, self-esteem, stress, anxiety, and depression to get to the root of their challenges so they can gain understanding and self-compassion.
I’m a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and a passion of mine is working with others in the community.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe that therapy is as individual as each person that I sit with. I’m here to help you navigate your unique life, experiences, and challenges in a way that feels authentic to you. I hope to help my clients foster not only understanding and growth, but self-compassion. My style is warm, direct, and humorous.
Depending on your needs, I pull from feminist theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based models, and relational frameworks. Early sessions involve exploring who you are and what has brought you to therapy. Then, as our therapeutic relationship develops, we'll dive into your tailored approach to get to the root of your challenges.
Who I Work With
I primarily work with teens and young adults navigating many life challenges, such as life transitions, anxiety, interpersonal relationship challenges, complex trauma, and the effects of marginalization. I work with marginalized communities to understand how identity, trauma, and self-compassion all play into our mental health. Many of my clients feel pressure to keep it all together on the outside, but are feeling overwhelmed and disconnected internally.
Outside of the Office
When I’m not in session, you can find me reading or playing with my cats and dog. I also love exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, and going out to the movies. I aim to have the same work-life balance I encourage my clients to have.
What to Expect When You Reach Out
It’s totally normal to feel nervous when first reaching out. Once we connect, we’ll have a brief conversation about your needs and goals. We’ll get you scheduled and set up in our client portal. You’ll have some paperwork to fill out before our first session. Then, we’ll have our first session!
Let’s Talk
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I’d love to connect with you to talk about therapeutic options. You can email me at victoria@bloomandhealtherapy.com to get started!
Warmly,
Victoria Wilder, RMHCI
