Hi!
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I am one of the counselors at Bloom & Heal Therapy. I am also in charge of our monthly newsletter and curating the blogs you see on our website. I hope you find this information helpful and if you have any ideas or suggestions for how we can grow our newsletter or blog, I would love to hear them! Â

Who I Am
I’m a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI) for the state of Florida. I graduated with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an Education Specialist (EdS) degree from Florida State University and my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology from the University of South Florida. I am currently supervised by Dr. Kinsey Pocchio, the founder of Bloom & Heal, and I am working on becoming a licensed mental health counselor.Â
As a therapist who is neurodivergent and a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I strive to create a space where everyone feels welcome to be themselves without fear of judgement. A big part of my approach is meeting you where you are and growing from there!Â
My Approach to Therapy
My approach to a counseling session pulls from a few different sources. I primarily use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to build coping skills and identify behaviors that you want to change. Alongside this I use somatic therapy to bridge the mind-body connection for clients. This is particularly helpful if you’ve been told you have great insight and can analyze your feelings but struggle to actually feel them. I also try to keep sessions balanced so we might use laughter and lots of empathy to build you back up!
From a framework perspective I use a holistic approach. This means that I look at all of the systems impacting you as an individual, from the bigger systems of our society to the small systems of what food we put in our body and everything in between. With this information, we can tailor a treatment plan with your specific needs and goals in mind.Â
Who I Work With
I currently see clients ages 6-60+ who are going through life transitions, want more coping skills, and need someone to help them navigate life’s many challenges. I have experience working with people who have autism and ADHD as well as people who have depression and anxiety. I also see couples who are struggling with communication issues, rebuilding trust, and wanting to rekindle the spark in their relationship.Â
My primary population I work with are neurodivergent individuals and people within the queer community but that being said I am open to working with people from a variety of backgrounds!
Outside of the Office
I spend most of my free time being silly with my partner, baking sweet treats, and exploring the beautiful world around me. I also volunteer with Queer Tallahassee Artists Collective at events around town and help facilitate some of their events.Â
What to Expect When You Reach Out
When sending your initial email please let me know how we can help. I typically respond within 1-2 business days but will try to get back to you as soon as possible. I offer sessions Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM till 7:00 PM and I am currently accepting new clients. Once we set a time and fill out some paperwork, we can meet for an intake session and begin your healing journey!
